The GlycoBiology Summer School was a joint learning event with participations of lecturers from 4 ITNs on GlycoBiology: Glycopharm, Immunoshape, Gastric Glyco Explorer and GlycoPar.

With more than 40 years of tradition, the International Colloquium on Amphipoda consists on the most relevant meeting point for several generations of amphipodologists, and an exciting forum for scientific exchange among researchers interested in all aspects of amphipod biology and ecology, where students find a unique environment to meet and connect with senior researchers. Organized for the first time in Portugal, the Colloquium had more than 100 participants from 20 countries around the globe. 
 The 16th ICA was a joint organization of the “Universidade do Minho (Centro de Biologia Molecular e Ambiental - CBMA)” and of the “Universidade de Aveiro (Departamento de Biologia & Centro de Estudos do Mar e Ambiente CESAM)”. The event was held at Universidade de Aveiro.

  • Network of the Small Scientists – Great Laboratory 7. 
    The project "Network of the Small Scientists" created in 2008 at the Secondary School of Barcelos was born by the will of wakening young people for research and laboratory practice. One of the activities is the Great Laboratory which is on its 7th edition.
